Salzburg...

Salzburg, Austria - Not only the birthplace of Mozart, but also the birthplace of my best friend, Robert and all of his wonderful friends and family as well.

Personally, joy overwhelmed me while I was there. As if getting to see my best friend for the first time in 6 months wasnt enough, we were warmly welcomed into the most beautiful home by the kindest family, who just so happen to be Robert's next door neighbors. Not to mention the beautiful city of Salzburg itself...

I dont want to write a novel on Salzburg and our first expieriences there, so i'm going to keep this brief. Here is a sampling of our time spent there...

  • The Opera House
  • Catacombs
  • Salzburg's oldest bakery
  • Capuch Monastery
  • Our first Sturm experience (young red wine)

  • Natural History Museum

  • Halley's 1st Ice Hockey Game

  • Salzburg Festivul of Fun/Fireworks

  • Largest Ice Caves in the World
  • Salzburg Fortress Tour

  • Salzburg Zoo

Those were a great 10 days but now we must get on with our journy. We'll be back at the end ouf our trip for round two of Salzburg, don't you worry. For now, Barcelona is next on the map. Who knows how long it will actually take us to get there though, it looks like there will be a several train transfers to get us there. Never the less, Juliet! Here we come...
